Bus

There are daily bus services twice a day from Reykjavik and Akureyri.
Guests arriving at the hostel by bus should indicate "Reykjaskoli" as the name of their destination.

Opening Times

Official opening times for the hostel are March 1st to October 31st. Outside of that period it is possible to call the hostel directly and inquire about availability.

From June 1st till August 31st the reception is open from 9:00 to noon and from 16:00 to 21:00. Outside of those hours guests can call the host to check in - a phone and the number is provided at the hostel.

Weather

There is a weather station at Reykir in Hrútafjörður and you can view the weather forecast here.

Guests should note that the next grocery shops and restaurants are located 15 km away from the hostel. It is therefore advisable to arrive equipped with food supplies, especially if travelling without a car.
